![]() Seriously, this guy is an excellant, underrated little common. Swarm of Scarabs can remove the guys who would stop the attack. although it's not easy to maintain a lock then. You can use Secret Pass to the Treasures with him. He gets under LLAB and G-Bind, along with Messenger of Peace. Cat of Ill Omens also allows you to search the deck for those traps you need. However, especially when the lock is first put in place, the opponent is more likely to have something ready. and you may not want to draw much else, since you might deck out then. Naturally, you won't need many other cards other than the lock once it's in full swing. To avoid locking your own draws to being Time Seals yourself, Des Lacooda helps out. Fortunately, though, the support is there. ![]() ![]() but he doesn't really fit in any other deck too well. This guy can seriously have a deck built around him. Non-Aggression Area and Bottomless/Trap Hole are other nifty choices. after all, it takes three cards to set up, and this guy doesn't have Spirit Protection, but Time Seal isn't all this guy is good for. 2x Time Seal and this guy allows you to keep recycling the Time Seals turn after turn, as long as you can deal the damage. Yata-Lock: Advanced! No, really, it can be. The real problem here is the fact that you will be showing the trap to your opponent so they will know what your planning and be able to prep for it.To use this card it must cause battle damage and that may be a problem unless your opponent has a clear field or a attack mode spirit reaper. This card has it's uses in some places but in those places theres probly better cards. Ok Ya'll Welcome to the first card of the day of the new year! Before we actually get to the review I would like to state these cards where chosen by the Catalyst a member I have full respect for but I don't like any but one of his picks. We all want to be the one who finds a new way to use a underated card and be loved for it like that one guy found a way to use possesed dark soul and demotion in a deck that is very good indeed but that won't be happening in this review.Aswan Apparition is a 3 star monster with stats of 500 to both his atk and DEf his effect is take one trap from your graveyard and put it at the top of your deck whenever causes battle damage.Being a level 3 he gets under gravity bind and level limit and with ak of 500 he gets under messanger of peace. Traditional: 1/5 (Monsters don't last long enough, and this one is a weakling to boot.) Despite the Noblemen of Crossouts running around, Mask of Darkness is a bit more likely to get that precious Trap back than Aswan Apparition.īeware the Wabokus and Scapegoats, for it is easy to lose a direct attack possibility from these.Īdvanced: 2/5 (Even with Secret Pass to the Treasure and the like, Aswan Apparition leaves much to be desired) Though Traps are incredibly useful, I can think of something that can do the Apparition's job better. At least the Apparition works with 'Secret Pass to the Treasures'. Not all that useful, but interesting.įor an effect that activates from Battle Damage, this thing's stats leaves much to be desired. ![]() "Aswan Apparition"'s effect does target a monster in the Graveyard, so the effect will be negated if "The End of Anubis" is face-up on the field.Īswan Apparition is an interesting monster. "Aswan Apparition"'s effect is resolved after damage calculation. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, you can return 1 Trap Card from your Graveyard to the top of your Deck. This week we will be looking at some picks from the Catalyst, so enjoy. ![]()
